Let’s say you have a great list of 9th grade science fair project ideas . Let’s say that when you look over your list, you think that every one of the ideas will be a good possibility of winning an award.

How do you determine whether or not your intuition about your 9th grade science fair projects really are that good? Do you just guess and proceed ahead?

Here are four ways you can check to see if the judges will most likely love your 9th grade science fair projects:

1. Read the list to your parents and explain each one to them. When you do this, don’t have a list of 10 and make them listen to all of them at once. That’s probably too many to think about after a hard day at work. Instead, bring up one at the dinner table at the beginning of the meal and then another at the end of the meal. Do this for as many days as it takes you to get through the list.

As you talk about the 9th grade science fair project, watch for their body reaction, not their words. Do they move closer towards you and ask more questions about these science fair projects for 9th grade? Do their eyes get bigger and they seem to smile more? If so, you may be on to a winner.

2. Bring up the list to your older brothers and sisters, especially ones in college. Ask them to ask their friends how to make the projects even better and more interesting. Tell them that if they could make your science fair projects for 9th grade entertaining you will pay them compliments on how smart they are for the next month!

3. See how popular your topic is on Google. For example, if your ideas for science fair projects include one that tests for the use of herbs as preservatives in foods, you’ll probably get a lot of great results. Read as many of these as you can and then create a spin-off of what was already done. For example, if someone has done research studies on Chinese herbs that can be used as preservatives on eggplant, your spin off can be another country’s herbs. This way you retain the uniqueness for your own project.

4. Do any of your ideas for 9th grade science fair projects solve a problem for anyone in society? For example, one 9th grader from Maryland felt sorry for those who had an arm or leg amputated. She had found out that once someone lost an arm or leg or even a toe, it was possible that they would have pain so bad for the rest of their life that even painkillers wouldn’t stop it. She set out to create an electronic device that sent signals to the brain to stop the pain and won an award for it.

If your science fair projects for 9th grade pass all the four tests, then get ready for some action. Your science fair project ideas could be a real winner for not just you and your school, but also others you help with your ideas.

Now go help someone with your ideas! You have a wonderfully created brain that is capable of anything! Prove it!
