Buying Coffee K Cups for Keurig Coffee Makers
66The Keurig coffee making machine is the latest convenience gadget using one K cup or coffee pod per cup of coffee. K cups coffee is fresh with no clean up. You have one and know the ease with which it makes coffee. You also know it is a bit more costly since the individual coffee K cups are expensive. The main problem people have is where to buy replacement K Cup coffee pods in sufficient quantity and with a wide selection of flavors. Normally, the boxes of Keurig K Cups only hold between 10-12 Cups. If you find a good selection of Keurig cups, you need to buy 5-10 boxes at a time so that you are not shopping for coffee every week.
Buying K Cups Locally
There are a number of retail stores that sell K Cups. Your local supermarket is probably the primary place you look. Problem with supermarkets is shelf space quantity and selection. While
K Cups are gaining is shelf space, anyone who buys these coffee cups shortly after the shelf has been stocked will take 10 boxes. All people are doing this knowing that there will probably be little selection and quantity during their next trip to the store. Shelves are not restocked fast enough.
You can also buy K Cups at Walmart, Target, Staples, etc. No problem doing this if you don’t mind going to these stores every week and coming home with a bunch of boxes. Personally, I don’t want to have to go to Target or Staples just to buy coffee. These stores also have the same problem with shelf space and restocking.
Buying K Cups Online
Several companies are now making K cups under different brand names. You could go to each company’s site, though this is tedious. The logical place to buy is the Keurig online site. Problem with the Keurig site is you will pay premium price since they own the Keurig name.
The best place to find K cups online is Amazon. Most people already have an Amazon account so they know it is easy to order. Amazon carried all the major K Cup brands and sells quantity of 50 cups per box. And Amazon is cheap.
You can order boxes in a matter of minutes and have the delivery show up a few days later. Best of all, Amazon has a wide selection of K Cups and an unlimited supply.
Buying K cups online is the only way to go. You will never again have to make a special trip to some store that you don’t want to visit just to buy coffee.

My dad took a trip to Arizona earlier this year and bought each of my sisters and I a machine for a late Christmas present. I loved the machine at first, but hated how expensive it was to buy the little cups. What I did was shop around and found a refillable filter that I could use to cut down the cost. Now all I need to do is replace the basket when it is wore out.
These are a must have for someone that loves coffee, but doesn't want to waste a pot. (I like to run my tea through it too. I bought a filter just for tea.)
Very informative hub! I give it a vote up. (Here is something to note though...when buying a refillable filter, make sure it is the right size and brand for your machine. Otherwise you will have a mess on your hands.) Thanks again!
Thanks for the information. We've been looking at getting one of these. You're right, the shelves always seem to be empty any time we've looked.

I love my Keurig and have not found a coffee or a tea that I don't like. I have found the most varieties in Target Stores and I found a sweet tea in a Home Depot of all places..LOL. Great article.
